Leadership PracticeSince completing the Silver Leadership Challenge I've had already identified opportunities to use the skills I've learned during this program in my day to day life. To name a few, practicing active and reflective listening are facilitating my growth as a future health education specialist. Even in my practice as a group coach and health coach the information and tools I've gotten while working as a Silver Coach and being coached will be invaluable as I make my way into the job market. I will continue to use the skills and tools that I've learned to improve my effectiveness in the field and a leader within my own community.

Future AspirationsThe skills that I have gained while being in the program will shape the qualities I need to represent myself as an emerging leader in the public health realm. Throughout this journey I have experienced a rollercoaster of emotions related to the "what if" and "what happens next" about graduation and finding a job. As Peter and I worked through those difficult questions I found myself feeling affirmed in my vision and my path to get there. I see myself working in a variety of settings, but ultimately I hope to work with the aging population or in worksite wellness. In both of these capacities I will be able to practice the skills I've learned while completing challenge!
